Sunday's contract with the I.P.C. comes with two very strict stipulations:
1) As part of his assimilation into the mega-corporation post-Penacony, he is expected to earn his freedom through work as another mindless cog in a vast machine.
2) Sunday is also required to remain under the watchful eye of someone the I.P.C. has deemed fitting, and that person is none other than Aventurine of Stratagems.It should be all fine and good, save for Aventurine's incessant teasing. Except that Sunday has stumbled upon a singular, horrible realization:
Aventurine is - and he's loath to admit such a thing, even to himself - perhaps a teensy bit attractive. Surely, nothing could go wrong.

“Ha. Alright.” Aventurine crosses his arms. Either he’s mulling this over, or trying to find a way to reject Sunday without hurting his feelings. “Sorry, you’re gonna have to say a little more than that. How is this supposed to help with your emotional regulation?”
Sunday should’ve just smashed that glass into his face and called it a day. “That’s irrelevant.”
“... Have you ever thought about going to therapy?”
“Why do you care?” Sunday snaps his gaze up at Aventurine; the latter’s eyes are carefully concealed beneath hued glasses. “I just— Just, hit me, okay? Can you? If you can’t then you shouldn’t have bothered coming all the way here.”
