Fresh off a week of infuriating phone calls with ableist teachers who can’t be bothered to try to do anything for Techno, Phil is sitting down for his first meeting with the administration and teachers at the special needs school Techno will be transferring to.
“Welcome,” the principal, a woman with a thick mane of white curls, says, smiling and shaking Phil’s hand. “I’m Puffy. You must be Phil Craft?”
“I am,” he says. “It’s a pleasure to meet you.”
“Same to you. We’re looking forward to having your son with us here!”or, Phil fights for Techno to have his educational accommodations.
