She interrupts him by surging up for a kiss. When she pulls away slightly out of breath, looking at him with glistening eyes, she joins their foreheads together. “Really? You want our blob too?”
He nods, giving her another peck. “Really. Really really really really.” he kisses her cheeks and her lips and then her forehead, and Nini giggles, eyes watery but this time out of happiness. “If I’m certain about anything, it’s that no one could love this blob as much as we could.”
Nini bites her lip sweetly, settling into his lap and wrapping her limbs around him like a tree. “Alright." she says with a smile. "I’m willing to bet on love if you are.”

Nini is gently pulling the blood soaked gauze from her boyfriend's mouth, and much to her amusement he's trying to bite her.
"Nom nom," he slurs lazily as he bites down gently, molars tickling her fingers as one hand keeps her phone steady and the other sets the gauze by her lap. It sits at her thigh, blood side facing the roof - and she realises that she's not as disgusted by this as she'd thought she'd be.
"Yeah they've started bleeding again pretty heavily, mom," she's checks to make sure,"but the stitches haven't rip- ah! Ricky!"

It was a known fact. This isn't some way of self-deprecating himself, either, he genuinely just... Annoys everybody. It was a rare and very unfortunate power to have developed, filled in a world of people with hybrid-based powers, water control, fire control, super senses, or invisibility and speed,
Or... Nullifying powers.
Tommy was aware nullifying powers existed of course, and they weren't exactly that rare... At least, not as rare as the other powers that about, half of the population tend to develop- He simply didn't expect to notice coming in contact with somebody that has nullifying powers, because as far as he was concerned, he had nothing to nullify.
Then he did.

Tommy wasn’t really the type to get caught up in drama at school. He flew under the radar for the most part, most people only knowing him as him as Wilbur and Techno’s golden haired, slightly annoying, but lovable, freshman brother. Wilbur being the leading man in their well loved theatre department, and Techno, co-captain of the football team, had given him a leg up when he had entered high school his freshman year.
But that was deteriorating quickly, as allegations spread quickly, and the blood drained from Tommy’s face as his older brother angrily confronted him about it.
