"I'm not as smart as Ranpo or Dazai, I don't know how to use it!," he cries, fat tears rolling down his hollow cheeks. "I'm not strong, I don't have power, I am uselessuselessUSELESS!" He buries his face in his hands.
After a while, he softly shakes his head. "No, that doesn't matter..." He looks around, at the devastated landscape around him. "I need to... I need to save them."
Or: Atsushi would go through his own personal hell to protect his loved one's smiles. Even if they don't remember.

“Sunday?” His eyes formed into crescents, the way they did when he saw something he found interesting. (Gross, Anaxa thought.) “What do you need me for?”
“I had a question about this Economics assignment,” he said with that pleasant smile. Despite the smile, a strange tone slipped through the smallest cracks, enough to make Anaxa raise an eyebrow.Aventurine didn't seem to notice and began giving the boy – Sunday, as he called him – advice.
Sunday gave short responses of acknowledgement, looking at the paper he had brought over instead of Aventurine. Anaxa found himself staring at Sunday, gauging his expressions and the movement of the wings on either side of his head. Anaxa came to notice that Sunday didn't exactly like Aventurine. His body language showed simple tolerance.The halovian’s eyes slowly drifted upwards as he caught Anaxa’s gaze. Their eyes met for a split second, before Anaxa quickly turned his head away. He listened to Aventurine continue to prattle on with an air of superiority.
Those eyes however… They burned themselves into Anaxagoras’ brain. He buried a shiver, letting it ache in his bones.~~~~
