Summary
An incredibly self-indulgent AU where Athena is drawn to Ithaka earlier and becomes closer to Penelope because of it. Will focus on Penelope throughout the years of Odysseus' journey and how she easily could've been a chosen of Athena as well with all her wit and cunning. (No seriously, I need there to be more Athena & Pen interaction in fanfic, they fit together SO well)

The timeline is certainly going to be a little fucked (I was an Egyptian Mythos nerd in middle school, not Greek, so mistakes will surely be present and prevalent) and pieces will NOT be posted in timeline order. However, I will make sure they're ordered correctly within the series and write it out in the series notes!

But everything else had shifted. She carried herself differently. There was a straightness to her spine that hadn't been there before, a kind of settled confidence that showed not in how she held her shoulders but in how she held her ground.

She gasped, "Wait! We don't have rings." Andy looked around the area before spotting a patch of wild flowers. She glanced at Emily, "Wait here okay? I'll be back in a jiffy."
Emily huffed as Andy rushed towards the flowers, leaving her with Joe. She watched as Andy picked two small, white flowers, making a hole in-between the stem and threading the end of the stem through the space, her tongue poking out in concentration. After a few minutes, Andy came running back, face a bit flushed but grinning. "Sorry for the wait! Continue please, Joe."

A Sachston AU wherein they meet at a playground when they were 9 and got "married" under the monkey bar. Years later, Emily barely recalls the event, unfortunately for her, that play marriage is considered binding in Genovian law. Now, she's getting calls from her supposed wife.
