Cedric says with a snicker, “Maybe he has the hots for her like the rest of the Capitol—”
His sister cuts him off with a light slap upside his head. “He already has the Capitol wrapped around his finger, dumbass, why would he want to talk to me?”

I have wanted to write my own interpretation of Annie and Finnick's story since I was 13 and the original trilogy's movies were still coming out. This is the story I've always wanted to tell. I welcome any and all feedback on the writing/story, as I have aspirations of being an author, and this was great practice for me.
