Summary
Roy has learned to live without Jamie Tartt's constant presence during every day - every moment - of his life.
Mostly.
So when Jamie returns to London for the launch party for his ridiculous apple-flavoured vodka, Roy is perfectly happy to spend his New Year's Eve watching him make an absolute fool of himself.
That was, at least, until Jump Around started playing, and his knee had other plans for him.

Summary
After a secretive trip to the Undercity goes terribly wrong, Viktor is left trying to piece himself together and drag himself back home. And it was nothing new. Nothing so terribly unusual.
But why does home look and sound so much like the lab...?
I.e., Instead of locating Singed, Viktor is attacked during his initial trip to the Undercity. Confused, exhausted, and in pain, he accidentally goes back to the lab instead of his own room, where his partner just so happens to be pulling an all-nighter...
