    In the cliche romance stories, there is always the main character, a loving Mary-Sue that has everyone chasing after them. Then there is the brooding love interest who opens up to the main character only. Of course, there is the main character's best friend. And, as always, there is that one bitchy side character that no one likes from the main character's perspective.
    But Mu Qing would argue that those people need to see the story from outside the main character's perspective. Only then will people understand why that character is the way they are.
    And, of course, Mu Qing says this as the bitchy side character herself.
