Her thoughts drifted to the days events, mostly just images of JJ surfing, water dripping off his body his wet blonde hair flinging drops of water everywhere as he shook it.

JJ had been watching Kie dancing with some guy at the bonfire all night. She knew he was watching her twist and tease around the guy, the guy who was watching her with a slightly dazed expression while he held her waist. She stared at JJ while she mixed watching his reactions. He took a deep swallow from his drink as he watched her. His eyes getting darker, his pulse starting to race. Then the guys hands started wandering on Kie's body and his gut twisted with jealousy and a little rage.

As soon as they were in her lounge, she went to Draco and kissed him. She drew back after a moment, tugging Theo to her next. She’d kissed them in front of one another before but only quick pecks, and in farewell. Never as the start to something.
“You don’t have to, but…” She looked between them, biting the edge of her lip hopefully.
Draco raised a brow. Theo waggled his.
“I’m game,” he said. “Draco?”
Draco smirked. “Come on, then.”
They met in the middle.

Pope's touch just felt wrong. It felt like a prison, but the way that JJ held her hand was something she had never felt before. It was a fire that spilled down her back and she wanted that fire to char her. Pope felt wrong. It would always be JJ.

Summary
Kiara Carrera is completely against her parents fostering JJ Maybank for many reasons. The first and biggest one is her stupid crush, which she's totally gotten over since thirteen. Kiara's parents have decided to foster JJ while his dad's in jail, which has made Kiara pretty much go insane. But slowly she starts to get to know JJ for more than his reputation, and their brief history, and maybe her crush is blossoming. Maybe she's starting to fall for him, which is totally against every rule her parents have. JJ introduces her to the pogues, which she thought she'd never be apart of, but they're actually way more accepting of her than she thought possible. Maybe her parents fostering JJ Maybank is the best thing for both of them. Just what they need.
This is set in an alternate universe. JJ, Pope, and John B are very close, but Kie hasn't been introduced to the pogues yet. Sarah is still very much a Kook, her and Kie's relationship is pretty rocky until something changes.
