The door to Sakazuki's office stood tall and imposing in the dim candlelight. Having been called here at this late an hour, it was but all too obvious the man was not particularly pleased, so to peak.
Dragon knew it— that this was the last chance he had to redeem himself for proper position of a marine, even if he longed to discard of it. Pieces of a puzzle he was all but too close to solving still missed, pieces he knew he needed to be certain of the feeling boiling hard and angry in his gut.
The marines were naught but scum, it called. Dragon simply had to prove it, even if it were only to himself.
//Or, young Dragon tries to piece together what to make of the world government and the navy, only to be caught red handed and apprehended by an not quite pleased Sakazuki.//

"I'm not a child, you don't need to hold my hand like I'll get lost," Shamrock huffs, but he doesn't protest. His thumb moves circles over Shank's, tracing a path that leads to nowhere.
"Then let go."
He doesn't.
