The tabloids are sharks, ready to exploit whatever they can and Momo fights against it harder than perhaps any of the girls in their class. It’s straight bullshit, but there isn’t anything anyone can do. They’ve all tried. Repeatedly.
“Bakugou could blow him up for you,” Kyouka suggests, “The way he did that reporter one time.”
Momo giggles, a soft light sound. “No, I couldn’t ask for him to take the reputation hit again.”
Kyouka frowns again, tipping her head back to watch the people strolling by.
“That’s why you called me babe, then? Fake relationship?”
Momo is suspiciously silent. Kyouka can hear the trash crumpling under Momo’s hands. She tilts her head back, staring at the tense line of Momo’s shoulders, her scrunched together eyebrows.
Momo needs a date to shake the media. Kyouka couldn't possibly say no.
