His breath caught in his throat… what had she said? Her eyes bore through him wickedly from her perch on the floor. “Jug, say it again,” she repeated, the hand on his knee slowly sliding upward toward his waist.
“Whatever you want, Betts.” They shared one more momentary, burning stare before he grabbed her face and kissed her roughly.
