Summary
“Sherlock,” he says quietly, shifting over beneath the now-ruined quilt. “Do you want children?”
Sherlock stares at the ceiling, makes no indication that he’s heard John at all, but after a moment, he turns his head to meet John’s gaze. “Look at our lives, John. What a preposterous notion.”
John thinks for a moment, processes what Sherlock has said, and decides to push it. He doesn’t want Sherlock to settle, not ever; he deserves to be effervescently happy. John had made a very real promise to him, just hours before, that he’d be sure to be the one to make that happen for Sherlock. “Our lives are insane, yes, but you didn’t answer the question, did you?”

Sherlock Attempts Phone Sex (and it goes about as you'd expect) by wendymarlowe

Summary
Sherlock masquerades as a phone sex operator in order to get a peek via the video at a suspect's flat. It's a disaster waiting to happen, a glorious, popcorn-worthy disaster, and John Watson isn't going to miss one single second of it.
Even if he ends up giving a bit more in the way of personal direction than he'd expected.
(Part of my "John and Sherlock's Kinky First Times" series of shorts, all revolving around the same basic theme of "John and Sherlock get sexy for the first time and also discover some kinky stuff about each other.")

Summary
“Sherlock! Brought you a present, love!” John toed off his wet shoes and hung up his coat. Sherlock actually paused his experiment in the kitchen to come see.
“You brought me an umbrella.” His eyes narrowed, then widened. “You brought me Mycroft’s umbrella.”
“Wondered if you’d recognize it. Figured you had ten experiments in your head for it already.” John shook the water off it and handed it over. “Also told him not to expect it back.”

Bill had talked about the coffee shop, at length. Apparently it was staffed by some tall posh bloke who provided the rudest customer service in London but always made the perfect cup. Didn’t even let you order - just looked you up and down and announced how much you needed to pay.
AKA "AU in which Sherlock is a terrible barista but does fantastic coffee. And tea. And blow jobs. John approves."
