Summary
Lex gets an admittedly gratuitous amount of pleasure from the way that Clark holds his gaze for only a beat, before his eyes dip down to where the neckline of Lex’s dress shirt sits unbuttoned around his clavicle, baring just a little too much of his throat. He raises an eyebrow, and Clark’s cheeks flush a pretty, pretty pink.
“The polite thing to do would be to knock,” Lex drawls, and Clark tilts his head away, to look back at the sunset. The movement doesn’t fully hide the way he rolls his eyes-- Lex doesn’t think it was supposed to, but someone like Superman has an image to maintain, he supposes.
