Yuuji says, enunciating every word, “I’m still not doubting you.”
“I know!” Gojo chirps, and beams at him, bright as his eyes. “Since you’re so worried, you can help increase my chances of survival.”
Yuuji’s been doing that. It’s the primary objective of every plan he makes, the purpose of each to save Fushiguro and survive doing so. Gojo’s more likely to win tomorrow than he isn’t.
But sometimes—a lot of the time—Gojo says things, and it’s better to just go along with him than to argue.
“Fine,” Yuuji says and scrubs a hand through his hair, mussing up the sweat-sticky strands. His scalp feels hot. “Is there a ritual or something I can do? Do we need, like, a lucky horse shoe?”
“Nothing like that.” Gojo tilts his head, right and then left, kicking his foot idly. “No supplies required, actually. We’ve got everything we need right here.”
“Okay…”
“All you have to do”—He beams, a row of gleaming teeth—“is kiss me.”

Yuuji thinks he’s in a nightmare.
Then, in a voice too clear to be a millenia faded dream. More obnoxious than anything the person he knew could have dreamed up - a little higher too - but unmistakable nonetheless.
“And who might you be?”
It’s Gojo-sensei.
A tear rolls down his face before he registers it, shell shocked, it feels like the whole world has been fractured apart. He can not, will not, will never close his eyes.
His heart wrenches and shreds into a million pieces, he can not breathe or move or anything anymore. His feelings wrench through his body in a way that could evolve him into more god than sorcerer if he could maintain it.
He isn’t human anymore.
He can’t be. It’s too painful. It’s too ecstatic.

Summary
Yuji‘s gotten used to leaving any lesson taught by Sukuna in rough shape. He can recognize that it‘s become routine at this point; he enters the classroom tense and leaves it worn down and tired, lies in bed at night and stews in the certainty it‘ll happen again.
At least there‘s comfort in the familiarity a routine offers, even if it‘s terrible. Unfortunate, then, that Sukuna has a vested interest in getting him discomforted.

Yuuji felt like his gut was going to drop right through him and onto the floor. There was something so horribly unnerving about it, about those blue eyes that glowed out at him from the gloom.
The way that there were more than two, blinking and winking and swivelling independently at him. Craning around to observe him better.
Were they on his face? No, they couldn’t be. There were too many and they moved too much.
Then the sunglasses were back on and the extra eyes disappeared too.
“I think you know exactly who I am, Itadori Yuuji.”
It was Six Eyes. He knew that. He could never forget.
Six Eyes tilted his head and pushed himself upright. He took a few casual steps towards Yuuji, but he stopped just at the edge of the forest. “You weren’t scared of me last time. What happened? What did that sensei of yours tell you?”

Somewhere on-screen, a giant mutant octopus was eating a cruise ship.
Neither of them noticed.
Gojo Satoru and Itadori Yūji meet by chance. Everything after that is a choice.
Between midnight screenings, terrible horror movies, cursed spirits and new friends, choosing each other becomes surprisingly easy.

Sukuna tilts his head to the side, with an eerily serene smile. “Let’s call it a game. Who’ll lose first—you or Fushiguro Megumi?”
“Leave Fushiguro out of this!”
Sukuna spreads his arms, the gesture more mocking than grand. He’s not wearing Fushiguro’s uniform anymore; he’s not wearing much of anything, just a pair of hakama. And Yuuji hates that he knows exactly what the bastard isn’t saying.
Fushiguro is already in this.
And it’s Yuuji’s fault.
“What a pathetic face,” Sukuna says softly. “We haven’t even started. Don’t bore me already.”
“You—”
Sukuna strips.
It only takes a second. A pass of his hand, and his pants pool at his feet, which step out of them with a casualness that lodges like hot coal in Yuuji’s throat.
“What the hell are you doing?” he yells.
“Don’t bother with the pretense. I know just how much you liked looking at this body. I was there—watching, feeling. Reduced to playing voyeur to foolish children.”
There's a fine line between a monster's malice and a god's love. Yuuji comes to learn this intimately.

The tags say everything. Old man Yuuji from Modulo time traveled back into the Heian era. Sukuna is around and he's in his mid to late thirties. Either way, Sukuna is the younger man in this relationship which I personally find hilarious. Take one look at these two and you would not assume Yuuji is over eighty years old.

Yuuji had become a man in the years Gojo had been away. Standing at 6'2", he was probably the same height as the man in front of him now, but he had long since lost the lean teenage frame. Years of being a sorcerer had built muscle onto him. The scars still covered his face and body.
Gojo hadn’t seen him in years. It probably wasn’t unnatural that the first thing he noticed was his height.
“Knew… knew you would… save me,” Gojo wheezed.

Gojo got out the prison realm a lot later than cannon. luckily Yuuji is there to catch him and teach him to be human.
And when the time comes Gojo is there to catch Yuuji as well.

Bright, fairy-floss pink. A color Satoru knows in every one of its variations, in sunlight and moonlight and complete darkness, all of them burned into his brain. A precise shade he’s only ever seen on one person.
Startled brown eyes peer at him from less than an inch away—two pairs of eyes, living brown with specks of ruddy red.
They used to be gold, those specks.
“You’re fast,” says the thing with Yuuji’s face made older and Yuuji’s eyes turned stranger. It smiles, the expression unspeakably alien, unbearably familiar. “Are you like me then?”
“Yuuji,” Satoru breathes, even though it’s not, it’s not— “Yuuji.”
All four of those eyes widen.
“You know my name,” it says. “I’m sorry about this, but who are you?”
Satoru loves a boy to death. He comes back wrong.

”I can’t do this again.” It’s a plea for mercy.
”You’d do it for me, wouldn’t you? You love me.” Satoru stares up at him, hands keeping Itadori’s legs apart.
Itadori falls silent. He stares up at the ceiling, his Adam’s apple bobbing. Satoru can never be too greedy with him and it's intoxicating. He can be his most selfish, revolting human self and Itadori lets it happen. Always embraces it, no matter how much logic and reason scream otherwise.
Instead of letting Itadori speak, Satoru pushes his nose against the slight bulge in Itadori’s pants.
“Remember the first time I did this? You could hardly last a minute.” He chuckles, savoring the fervent, panicked, reverent look in Itadori’s eyes.
An older Yuuji travels back in time, but he’s not as thrilled about it as you might expect.

Buddhism dictates that once you die, you can be reincarnated, and depending on your Karma, that new world may be better then the last. Following that belief, he must have done something truly horrible in a past life to be placed in his current one.
No one, especially not the true Itadori Yuuji, deserved to play host to the King of Curses. He took comfort in the fact that a random teenager was not stuck with such a responsibility. Despite erasing the kid from existence by accident.
He just never expected the changes that rippled out, when in reality, he probably should have.
