Taking place right after For the Future, this an alternate take on Watching and Dreaming from Hunter and Willow's perspective, focusing on grimwalker lore, the Wittebane backstory, and Hunter and Willow's developing relationship!
I started writing this before the finale aired, as a prediction/ what I hoped to see! Now that we're in a post Owl House world, it's more of a canon divergence au! Basically, if Dana herself gave me a blank script and said go nuts, this is what I'd do!
This is my first time writing a fic and I'm both very excited and very nervous to share it! Please let me know what you think and leave any feedback or suggestions! Thank you for taking the time to read and I hope you enjoy my little rambling as much as I enjoyed to write them!

"No, no no no Ma'am it was me," Hunter said, voice ragged.
"Willow and Gu-" she started again.
Hunter dropped to his knees.
"Please, please don't hurt them Ma'am. I can take it, I'll be quiet. I swear it won't happen again, I-"

“Uh, so…” Hunter began. “What I dreamed about… it wasn’t just a dream. It actually happened.”
He felt a chill come over him, and he wasn’t sure if it was because of what he was talking about, or because the sweat from his nightmare was cooling him off.
“I, um… I dreamed about when… when Belos possessed me.”
Hunter quickly glanced up from his hands to see Willow’s reaction, but to his surprise she didn’t look nervous, or disgusted, or even uncomfortable. She just nodded calmly, encouraging him to continue.
Of course she wasn’t scared by this! She was Willow! It was just him who was afraid.
