Summary

“Already tired from a little cooking, huh?” Seokjin murmurs quietly to himself and leans back in the couch with his hands in his lap, studying Namjoon’s face carefully; how soft his skin looks, the gentle brush of his eyelashes against his skin, and without properly thinking about what he’s doing he reaches his hand out to gently brush it through Namjoon’s short hair, smiling when Namjoon leans into the touch.
They spend a couple of minutes like this, with Namjoon asleep and Seokjin brushing his hand through his hair in slow, soothing motions.

“Hello, I’m Kim Seokjin from the BH test kitchen and today we’re gonna try making gourmet…”. Behind him a few pans scatter to the ground and a loud “sorry” echoes around the somewhat empty kitchen. Seokjin rolls his eyes. He doesn’t even have to turn around to know it was Namjoon. How the god of destruction himself managed to come out of culinary school alive and became arguably one of the best chefs in Seoul is beyond anyone. Seokjin doesn’t necessarily dislike Namjoon, he just doesn’t care for his chaotic nature. He already has to share the test kitchen with him, he can’t imagine actually cooking with the guy. So of course they make him. Goddamn it, Kim Taehyung!
