Summary
A tale of two idiots who'd rather get naked than talk about their feelings. Until they do.
Part 1: The Door
Part 2: The Bathtub“Oh, hello there, darling,” Vex greets him as she approaches the giant-ass tub he has all to himself, filled to the brim with steaming hot water that smells faintly like strawberries. “Fancy meeting you here.”
“Who’d have thought,” he agrees, trying to sound nonchalant, probably.
“Yeah, you know…” She drawls out as she drops her bathrobe, still a few feet away from the tub. “I could have gotten my own tub, but that just felt incredibly lonely somehow.”
“Understandable,” Percy says, his eyes following her robe down her body, but catching on the new scars and bruises courtesy of both Thordak and Raishan, but mostly Raishan. “It’s also just more efficient to share. Saves water. And time.” -

Summary
Vex, working through her brother's death, one conversation in an empty temple at a time.
~
Chapter 4:“I will never accept this. I just won’t. I can’t. I’ll never miss you any less, and you being gone will never hurt any less. And trust me, I considered throwing myself into a dramatic quest to get you back, but I won’t,” she had to laugh a little, “I can’t, at this point, because I have a daughter who needs me, and a husband who has lost too many people already.”

Summary
Technically only spoilers up to episode 95.
After some prodding from unlikely sources, pondering his own mortality, and the nature of how history remembers people, Percy finally decides to ask the question of questions:
“Would you be hypothetically amenable to the general concept of marriage?”
(Or: In which Syldor and Vax are helpful in the most disturbing ways, Percy is doubtful, and Vex actually isn't too cool for this shit, except, of course, that she is)

Summary
SPOILERS FOR 75!
After the battle with the Pit Fiend, Percy and Vex try to have a moment. That turns out to be harder than expected with the rest of the group around. And also while still looking like sextuplets.
“The situation is that you got yourself almost killed again,” Vex unnecessarily informed him, while avoiding looking at him. “Stop doing that. SCANLAN! THE SEEMING!” The last part was shouted across the room again.
“I take it I still look like your brother?” Percy surmised.
“You look like two of my nightmares in one neat package, and I need you to only look like one of them,” Vex confirmed. “I swear to god, Scanlan, this takes five fucking seconds!”
“Well if that isn’t the most flattering thing a girl has ever said to me…” Percy mused, and chocked down the laughter bubbling up inside him when Vex made very panic waving gestures to silence him.

Summary
SPOILERS FOR 74! Posing as slaves is never, ever a good idea. So through wacky circumstances, Percy and Vex find themselves chained up in a holding cell for misbehaved property, waiting for Cenokir to come pick them up. They pass the time by talking.
~
“ – You want to do this now?” Vex cut him off before he got to fully vocalize the question. “Seriously?”
“Well, now I brought it up, and it’s not like we have anything better to do,” he said quickly. Probably blushing again, judging from how flustered he sounded. At least that was something. “Or do you have any other plans for the afternoon?”
“I did, and then someone blew himself up in public,” Vex retorted. “Getting us stuck here, remember?”
“Oh, deflect all you want,” he said in a huff. “Still. Now it’s on the table. Let’s talk.”
“Is this really the later you envisioned?” She tried once more. He chuckled.
“No, it really isn’t,” he admitted. “It does have its own unique advantages though. No need for eye contact, and no one can walk away right now.”
“You make a fair point,” she conceded. “Just imagine how much faster Keyleth and my brother could have gotten their shit together if we’d just locked them up together…”

Summary
They stay that way for a long time, Catra’s face tucked into Adora’s shoulder, Adora gently cradling Catra’s head. Adora is careful not to hug Catra too hard or make her feel restrained, anticipating the moment that Catra will start to pull away — but Catra doesn’t. She hangs on so tightly it hurts, her claws digging through Adora’s jacket and into her back, latching into her like she did when she was a kitten and didn’t know how much her claws could hurt. Adora tries not to wince, tries not to move a single muscle, worried that if she does the spell will break and Catra will struggle away, appalled at having shown weakness.
But Catra doesn’t let go. And so neither does Adora.
