Dazai Osamu was terrible at existing, this was a fact that anyone who met him could tell you.
Having never been around anyone his age before, he didn't know how to act around his peers. When being forced into close proximity with an entire class of people who are completely different from him in every way, he doesn't know how to pretend to be good like all of them.
If he somehow makes it through the year without being called out for what he is, it'll be a miracle.

Alejandro wags his fingers in her face, shaking his head in mock disappointment. “Ah ah ah. That’s simply not true! For you see, there is a way to win this game!”
Heather raises a brow. “Which is?”
“To win the heart of the most troublesome man I’ve come to know.” Alejandro declares, his eyes shining with determination as if what he said made a lick of sense.
…what the hell does that have to do with farming?
Alejandro pulls up the list of dinky townies, scrolling down until he reaches the end. The cursor hovers over the little sprite icon, clicking to open up a character page for village idiot #42 or whatever. The relationship metre sits at three little red hearts, but that’s not what Heather’s focusing on.
That icon image looks…familiar.
Heather stares at that bored pixelated face. There’s something about it that just itches at the back of her mind, trying to dredge up something forgotten like a long lost shoe lodged in mud. The more she stares, the stronger the feeling gets. She lifts up her sunglasses, her eyes squinting in suspicion. It’s only when she glances at the character’s name does it all hit her.
