“Were you spying on me? You were, weren’t you?” Natsu accused. He ignored the pain in his head to whirl around and try to check the back of his t-shirt for any bright red feathers. He shook the shirt out, lifting it up in front and back to check underneath it. Who knew how many of those stupid, whisper-soft feathers could have ever-so-conveniently attached themselves to him?
“You seemed really down when you left. I just wanted to make sure you were gonna be alright.”
Despite the comforting tone of Hawks’s voice, Natsu noticed his words weren’t, ‘Yeah, that was fucked up of me, I’m sorry.’ He let his shirt fall back into place with a heavy sigh. “You think you have any right to do that?”

Summary
After flying back to Germany with the end of the Neo-Egoist League, Ness seeks refuge in Frankfürt, away from everyone he knows, just so he can have a little peace and be free to drown in self-loathing and alcohol. Fate doesn't seem to agree with his plans, however.
“What’s a pretty thing like you doing here?”
Oh, that voice. That damned fucking voice. From the extensive list of people Ness definitely did not want to meet that night, this man was probably locked in the second position, only below the one person who was the reason for Ness being there in the first place.
Still, they meet, and they talk, and then Ness is following Don Lorenzo, of all people, into his room. Hot sex ensues.
