Summary
Little eight-year-old Charles summons Lillith. Seeing his suffering but unable to take him away, she instead leaves him a blessing. Eventually the memories of her fade from his mind, like a dream he had once. Then he meets Edwin, and he dies, and they open the agency, and as they face their first witch the witch casts what would be a fatal spell at him and it does...nothing. Charles brushes it off, saying it must not have hit him, but Edwin doesn't buy it and goes down a research rabbit hole, but can't find any answers. (After)life moves on and they eventually find themselves in Port Townsend.
