Jinx cocks her head, bites her bottom lip, and rolls her pelvis experimentally, dragging her heated core over Sevika's exposed midriff. Sevika's head tips back as much as it can with the high chair back, eyes closed as her flesh fingers dig into the arm of the chair. Jinx chuckles, "I should have known, with how much time you spend at Babette's---" she leans in, ghosting her lips over Sevika's jaw and cheekbone, "---what an easy slut you are under that hard exterior, all business until someone rubs their cunt against you." Villanelle takes her hand and lays it flat between her breasts. The thump thumping is a little elevated to what one might normally expect. But it was there, clear as day. Eve attempts to flinch back at the sensation, like she's been burned by water, but Villanelle keeps her hand firmly in place. The thump thumping only gets stronger and Eve's willpower only gets weaker.
Villanelle looks at her keenly, with such intensity that she feels hot all over, almost unbearably so. Like the moment right before Villanelle tasted her for the first (and last) time in the camper.

If hope is the thing with feathers, I am the thing with legs. Muscle, marrow, movement. Nothing against hope - they’re great, actually, and there is a buoyancy to their work - it's light and loose and tilted towards the sky. It’s just that I move, shake, force. My work rattles, unsettles what was settled.
A man dies in Berlin. He bleeds out from a barely there stab wound in his thigh. Not long after, a woman comes to life in London - self inflicted stab wound in the same exact spot.
People think my work is specific - it’s not! There is a surprising amount of wiggle room, plenty of space for…creative interpretation. Example: Oksana (Villanelle) Astankova and Eve Polastri (née Park) are to save each other. That was the memo, verbatim, that appeared on my desk some 20 months ago. Yes, I have a desk. Yes, we use paper. It’s ephemeral and magical and it kind of just fizzles into nothing after I’ve read it, but yes, you are right to be surprised that we haven’t gone digital or telekinetic or something more mystical. I digress.
