He can tell the exact moment Shane realizes the coat is Ilya's: his body goes entirely still. "He likes giving me things."
"Mm." One final touch, brushing imaginary lint off Shane's shoulder. It takes enormous effort to step back and circle back around to Shane's front. Now he's between Shane and the door, and Shane's eyes are following, hungry. "Not everything, I think."
