Summary
V holds up a sleek black synthleather jacket with spikes on the shoulders and a minimalist red design over the left breast pocket, assessing it.
"Would look good on you," Johnny says before he thinks twice about it.
"You're saying that cuz it's your style," V replies, but he's smiling.
It doesn't take a genius to know red is Johnny's favorite color. Which is why it feels particularly funny that he gets stuck with V, who might as well be a walking advertisement for the color red.

Summary
They might have shared a mind for a few months, but that doesn’t mean V always gets what Johnny wants on the first try. It does mean Johnny knows perfectly how to push V’s buttons, and get what he needs in the end.

Summary
"Be grateful," V says with a grin. "I could have asked him to give you a matching tattoo."
Johnny removes the data shard and turns to look at him, take in his visage properly. V's always been beautiful to him— pretty gold-green eyes, a tall proud nose accentuated by his septum piercing, deep scars over his cheek, full lips that Johnny gets distracted by when he talks. He aches in his chest, burns under his skin.
"You're staring," V points out. He raises an eyebrow at him, but his cheeks are starting to warm with color.
"I wouldn't have minded it."

Then Johnny starts fucking with him, and before he knows it, he's gay for two men nearly three times his age.

Summary
The entire thing had been an accident, really. He'd never have let this happen if he'd been more aware of himself.
That ship has long since sailed.
Right behind the last six times that Johnny had brought him to the edge and then slowly back down again, each time taking him apart more and more than the last.
If he’d been more aware of himself, surely he wouldn't have called out that stupid little word.
