Summary
This is the sequel to "Paper Memories (Part One)." This is Part Two of Two.
Part Two is about Faith and Forgiveness.Xie Lian has found himself in a rather unusual and dire situation.
Not only does he have two amnesiac ghost kings cooped up in his shrine, but Hua Cheng has mysteriously regressed into the form of a child. While Xie Lian is determined to return his Beloved's memories, he also has the help of Shi Qingxuan who is equally driven to restore and confront the person he once considered his best friend. It will be up to the two of them to track down the powerful memory-eating steam spirit who has done this, and with any luck, find a way to return all that has been stolen away by her. This includes Xie Lian’s own lost memories. What could have driven him to nearly commit genocide?

Summary
Xie Lian has a problem. One that's plagued him his entire time as an immortal. This problem is quite simple: he can't stop ascending.
This problem leads to a second problem: due to his explosive ascensions, he is piled very, very highly with debt. And, as this debt grows higher, the gods are more and more reluctant to let him go before he pays them back. However, the Heavenly Emperor Jun Wu offers him a deal: in exchange for stopping the Crimson Rain Sought Flower's constant rampages in the heavens, Xie Lian will no longer have to worry about whether or not he'll be allowed to jump off a cloud after each of his ascensions.
Xie Lian takes the deal.

Summary
AU where Xie Lian actually tells Mu Qing that he considers him a friend, and for once, Mu Qing doesn’t scoff or push it away, just nods, almost imperceptibly, like he’s holding onto the words more tightly than he’d ever admit. And when Xie Lian tells Feng Xin he wouldn’t blame him for leaving, Feng Xin doesn’t argue, just sits down beside him in silence, staying anyway.
Xie Lian also grows that weird, unusual, but soft and warm feeling toward Wu Ming... though, of course, all of this doesn’t change the absolute disaster that his life is. It’s not like taking a slightly different path ever led him to a happy ending anyway.
