Summary

Summary
Viktor and Jayce wake at the base of the disabled Hexgates six months after the end of it all, Viktor in his more human Herald form, and Jayce riddled with Arcane Rot scarring.
The journey to get back to being together, to being partners, is far from an easy one, but neither of them are letting go, ever again.
The rest of the world will simply have to get used to it.

Summary
Viktor and Silco mend what was broken, which would be much easier to do if they lived in less interesting times, and if Silco had any concept of what dating was about. Silco tries to balance being a partner for the first time in decades with becoming increasingly focused on Zaunite freedom. It would be much easier to not care, about any of it, but unfortunately when something stirs his heart to action it is as lasting as it is rare. Viktor deals with the complexities of believing in a cause while working amongst the oppressors.

Summary
Viktor chooses the wrong place at the right time for his shimmer-Hexcore transmutation, and runs into Jayce who does understand. Unfortunately, he interrupts a delicate discussion of peace between Jayce and Silco, but he may be the missing piece to come to terms - as a Zaunite caught between both worlds, and in desperate need of a cure. Time is running out for Viktor, and his life and work may be the bargaining chips needed to end the conflict between the two cities and finally allow him the luxury of slowing down long enough to explore the possibilities between him and Jayce that they’ve been circling around for years.

Viktor is the court mage of Zaun, and in an attempt to spare the princesses from the arranged marriage he volunteers to do it instead.
