Summary
A series of short fics exploring Kevin, Wile E., and Road Runner's friendship, among other things (which includes my insatiable need for whump.) Each chapter is its own story, but they're set in the same verse, so I wanted to have them all in one place.
OR,
If no one is going to write a fic where Kevin is to Wile E. and Road Runner as Grace is to Rocky and Adrian, I’ll do it myself.

Chapter 1: Wile E. and Road Runner learn how fragile humans can be and start to worry about Kevin over every little thing.
Chapter 2: Spending the day in the desert, Paige gets too hot and suffers from heat exhaustion.
Chapter 3: Kevin gets attacked by other toon coyotes who aren't as friendly as Wile E. Luckily, the Road Runner is around to help.
Chapter 4: Kevin tries dating again, but eventually realizes he just doesn’t like it. Luckily, he has people in his life who care about him and support him. (aroace Kevin <3)
Chapter 5: Wile E. has a migraine and just wants his entire pack in one place while he recovers.
Chapter 6: Kevin is super busy at the law firm and doesn’t take care of himself, so when he pushes through to meet with the toons as planned, he passes out. -

“Can’t sleep properly alone in the house?” Albert asks, sympathetic, and Bucky knew he was tired, but he wonders if it’s even worse than he thought before Albert can see it. He always figured the serum did a pretty good job of hiding the usual evidence — bloodshot eyes and dark bags a rarity for Bucky.
“A bit,” Bucky admits, doesn’t say that he hasn’t slept a full night through without Sam in the next room. That when he has slept, his dreams have been nightmares. That he’s counting the nights until Sam is back. Only two to go. Maybe Bucky will come back here and pick up some beignets before driving to the airport to fetch him. Sam will complain about getting the sugar all over his truck, but he’ll gladly eat them anyway.
Albert nods like this makes sense. “I can never sleep right when my missus is away, either.”
It seems like everyone around town has gotten the wrong idea about Sam and Bucky's relationship. Sam thinks maybe their use of the term partner is the cause. Bucky might not be so sure about that.
