Summary
Five years ago, rising star Film Rachanun left Thailand, and left Namtan behind without a word. No explanation. No goodbye.
Now she’s a global celebrity with a stalker problem, a PR crisis, and a leaked voicemail that was never meant to be heard by the public.
And the bodyguard assigned to protect her?
Namtan.
Her ex-girlfriend. The same woman she once loved. The same one she left to keep safe.
It’s supposed to be professional. No past. No feelings. No remembering what it felt like to be hers. But the press is relentless, the danger is real, and Namtan is colder than Film ever thought possible.
And loving someone who looks at you like a stranger might hurt even more than losing them the first time.

Summary
It starts with a succulent.
or, in which namtan only wanted something to liven up her desk, so she buys a plant. and another. and another. and another. but it’s totally not because of the florist with galaxies in her eyes and the prettiest whiskered smile namtan has ever seen. so not that at all.
it’s just gardening. totally.

Summary
The world is painted red, when a dangerously efficient psychopath crosses paths with a
chronically depressed doctor in the space between violence and recovery, where blood has already dried and no one asks the right questions.
Namtan kills for a living. Not for justice. Not for belief. Only because she can. Film heals strangers every day. She touches broken bodies with care she never learned to give herself, and calls survival a kind of duty.
They meet where they should not. A woman built for violence. A woman built for care. Both existing in the margins of what the world calls human.
Namtan has spent her life dismantling humans down to their most predictable instincts: greed, fear, hunger. Film does not fit the pattern. She does not recoil from what Namtan is. She does not ask for softness. She only exists, steadily, painfully, and without illusion. And that, somehow, is enough to be dangerous.
This is a story about attachment without redemption, intimacy without innocence, and the uneasy space between monster and mercy, where love is not soft, not saving, but deliberate.Bookmarked by KrisMandu
