Summary
Jon Snow, a bastard of the North, is commissioned by the Crown to paint a portrait of Princess Daenerys Targaryen for the upcoming suitors' ball where Lords from all across the Seven Kingdoms will vie for Daenerys's hand in marriage. Things get complicated when the Princess and the painter develop feelings for one another. When their mutual infatuation snowballs into an intense love affair they can no longer keep hidden, the scandal threatens to destroy not only their relationship, but their very lives.

Summary
Finally her destination is in sight, light reflecting off the water’s surface as she catches a glimpse through the manicured greenery. The cold air is starting to become too much, anticipation at sinking into the hot water flooding her system.
Except. As she rounds the corner, she realizes— someone else is already in the hot tub.
They both remain frozen for a moment, taking each other in. The air seems to have grown heavier, electricity crackling in the space between them. She can feel it dancing over her skin, tingling in anticipation, and as the man’s eyes glide over her, she can’t tell if the heat that floods her is from the steam curling off of the water or from his fiery gaze.
Missandei’s suggestion immediately comes back to mind, and looking at the man in front of her, it’s hard to deny the pang of desire in her belly. Maybe hooking up with a handsome stranger at this wedding isn’t completely out of the realm of possibility for her yet.

“Let me come with you,” he says, voice soft. Her heart leaps, pounding in her chest, and she wants nothing more in the world than to give in, to melt into his embrace before running away with him. But she is not entirely sure that is what Jon wants.
“Are you sure?” she asks him, already bracing herself for disappointment. “All of your family is here.”
“Dany, you’re my family.” His voice is impossibly gentle, and she lets him tug her into his arms, press his forehead against hers. She exhales shakily in his embrace, hardly daring herself to believe he means it. “I’m going to try, remember?”
“Okay,” she says, nodding. She revels in the warmth of his touch, the hope blossoming in her chest at his promise.
