    Sigyn and Loki have known each other for years, yet have never spent much time alone together, that is, until now:

    Sigyn’s father, Tyr, was the official armourer to The Einherjar, Odin’s Army. Sigyn thought being the daughter of a Blacksmith was wonderful, as it gave her the freedom to create and mould metal to her liking. She became extremely skilled as a Silversmith incorporating the skills from her Alfan-Asgardian bloodline. This earned her much respect among the people of Asgard and it came as no surprise, except perhaps to Sigyn herself, that after the death of her father during the Second Jotunn War, she inherited the position of Royal Armourer of Asgard. However, this caused jealousy with Tyr’s apprentice, Ullr. In his opinion women should be wives, not Masters.

    But a chance encounter on a balcony, after an attempted assault, alters the course of Sigyn’s life forever, or perhaps puts her on the path she was always meant to follow.

    It started out small. Jokes and kidding around, teasing. One day you flirted in an overly exaggerated manner with Loki and that was it. The deal was signed. You two began “flirting” obnoxiously to annoy the others.

    One friend threatening to bend the other over a nearby surface often and loudly to the rolled eyes of your friends and coworkers. The banter was hilarious and it helped you to keep your attraction to Loki from boiling over.

    There was only one line neither of you would cross. The jokes were never done when you two were alone. A “performance” necessitated an audience.

    When the line gets unintentionally crossed you take the joke for truth.

    But every joke has a kernel of truth in it, doesn’t it?
