“Atsushi. Are you okay?” Chuuya asks him with such gentleness it seemed almost impossible to detect the rage hidden behind his soft tone, but Atsushi wasn’t like other ability users—he’s a tiger. He can sense whatever you feel in a way.
Atsushi lets out a low hum, “I’m fine. I’m just sore.”
“Of course you would be, after taking out half the organization in a day and sneaking around… I’m more shocked you even survived that.” You could hear the amusement in Chuuya’s voice, he was proud of Atsushi but most importantly—he was glad his protege was alright.
Akutagawa hums delightfully, “You did great, Jinko.”
“You two are an incredible duo, you know? I’m sure you two can become an even better version of double black.”
Or, Atsushi joined the Port Mafia at 12 and was mentored by Port Mafia Dazai then he leaves as originally planned.

Summary
Akutagawa pulls against his restraints with all his strength. He won’t let them lay a finger on Atsushi.
“No,” he growls. “He doesn’t know anything.”
Atsushi looks over to Akutagawa, his expression far too soft and fond for the seriousness of their situation.
“It’s fine,” he says gently. “I’ll heal, so better me than you.”
“Not with that collar suppressing your ability, you won’t!”
Atsushi pauses, as if that reality hadn’t hit him until just now. Akutagawa wants to smack him — too busy making a noble sacrifice to use his brain for even a moment. Utterly typical.
But after a moment’s consideration, Atsushi simply shrugs.
“Still better me than you, though.”

Summary
In the midst and action of the agency running from the hunting dogs, a deal had been struck up. The mafia was to send aid to the agency, to rescue and habitate them in safety from the hunting dogs. Yet, no favor from the mafia comes free. A member from the agency was to be transferred over.
"You boy, you'll be transferring over"
The words struck as the members of the agency turned with baited breath. Their eyes screamed shock as they saw who Mori was talking to.
"...Me?" Atsushi pointed to himself, too shocked to even properly register what was happening. He was going to be transferring.. to the port mafia? Just the thought of it made him want to throw up. He had only been in the agency for less than a year, and he was transferring? Atsushi grimaced, clenching his teeth.. was he really going to have to do this..?
