Summary
Rukawa has to admit that, though he’ll never agree that Sakuragi is a genius like he claims he is, he’s finally becoming good at basketball.
Sure, he’s still the biggest moron there is, hard to ignore with a voice as loud as all that red in the form of his hair and the Shohoku uniform, but he shines so hard on the court and even Rukawa can see that. He refuses to be anything else but great and while it’s going to take him a bit more to get to where he wants to be, it’s so obvious to everyone that Sakuragi’s on his way there.
Strangely, Rukawa wants to be right by his side once Sakuragi becomes everything he’s ever dreamed of becoming and more.
