Summary
There’s a story, or a legend, rather. The Ocean of Stars. If you can find it, you can have any wish you want granted. All you have to do is catch one of the stars, and the wish is yours. However, no one has been able to find it.
K, an orphaned dragonborn, has been spending his entire life looking for The Ocean of Stars, to grant his wish of having a loving family. Nicholas, a poor werewolf who street fights to put food on the table, befriends the dragonborn and joins him on his adventure so that he may grant his wish of being able to provide for his family without having to hurt anyone. Euijoo, the town healer turned warlock, and Nicholas’ personal nurse (for obvious reasons) joins his friend in search of all the ways to heal people. And Taki, a young kid who escaped from a traveling circus joins the older boys in search for freedom and adventure.
During their journey, they meet friends both old and new, who help them on their journey, and maybe go on a few side quests here and there. Even if the search for The Ocean of Stars is futile, K will travel to the ends of the earth for it, because having hope for the impossible is better than living a life of loneliness.

Summary

However, he never expected to get close with his classmates. Now he both has to keep his head on straight in classes, and keep his identity-both as trans and a vampire-a secret. It's proven to be much harder than he thought, especially since he starts to fall in love with a certain headstrong boy.

Euijoo has to stay off his scent suppressants for his health. That’s fine. Everyone knew he was an omega. Plus, he wasn’t due for his heat anytime soon. His scent would be completely normal. Theoretically, it shouldn’t change his daily life too much.
Note: In everyday use, the word "theory" often means an untested hunch, or a guess without supporting evidence.

Fate was a fickle thing. It did not appreciate being taunted or twisted. It liked to do as it pleased without pesky humans-- or other creatures-- interfering with its fun. It took kindly to fae folk and their playful nature, and it appreciate a reaper’s dedication to fate’s decisions. It did not, however, take kindly to malicious humans trying to bend Fate’s will for themselves. It was like the wind that caressed flushed cheeks with soft fingers, enjoying the blush under its graze. It was like the wind that demolished and lacerated buildings in a swift, torrential anger, hurt by the actions around it.
Vampires (if wise, if old) had long since stopped trying to play with Fate. Nothing ever changed. It was better to ask and plead, for Fate was a vain, obsessive creature and loved to watch mighty creatures put aside their conceit and humble themselves. Fate would talk to some, so long as Fate liked them. It was rare, so very rare, but not quite a myth-- tales of Fate coming to creatures and speaking with them, asking their thoughts on decision. Very few were so lucky. Very few were liked. And that was a very, very dangerous game.
