    Mustafar leaves Padmé with a broken heart, and, after being told that Anakin and her unborn child had died, she goes into hiding. She flees, deep into the outer rim, resolved to escape the Empire's clutches.

    23 years later, she learns of the existence of a Luke Skywalker, the young Jedi responsible for overthrowing an Empire, defeating Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader. Believing him to be her child, taken from her, she returns to the galaxy determined to find him and make amends for the time they had lost, only to discover that she had given birth to twins.

    Let's get one thing straight. Anakin Skywalker really didn't ask to be thrown into an alternate future-universe where his adult children are fighting an evil Empire, but since he's here, he has a 5-point plan:

    1. Make sure his kids don't do anything stupid
    2. Help them fight against fascism
    3. Take out his evil alter-ego
    4. Kill Sidious and save the galaxy (again)
    5. Get back to his universe and pretend none of this ever happened

    Unfortunately, the plan goes about as well as normal.
