Summary
Eloise is sitting on a swing in the garden when Penelope meets with her, crying about the aftermath of her confrontation with Marina about Colin, Penelope never says any of this to her but how she acts after crying makes Eloise question why she appeared only now and what her friend has really been up to.
This work was inspired by a scene in episode 1x06 of Bridgerton, the night before Whistledown exposes Marina's pregnancy after her engagement and Pen runs to Eloise in bridgerton's backyard garden, upset about her argument with Marina.
There might be typos in this story as each chapter continues, I will fix them along the way, sorry about that.
A song called Only Ones Who Know by Arctic Monkeys, inspired the title and the plot of this fanfic as I continue writing the story from each chapter, I hope you enjoy the story! :D

That was when the atmosphere started to shift, and Eddie started to realize he wasn’t just reading a story about a house fire.

Summary
Buck manages a few more reps, and Eddie watches intently the whole time. When he goes to place the weight back on the rack with a loud heave, his muscles tensing, Eddie can’t help but blurt out without a second thought, “When did you get hot?”
Buck freezes. He pants and catches Eddie’s eyes again from above. “Uh, excuse me?”
Eddie regrets ever opening his mouth. He runs a shaking hand through his already messed-up hair. “Just– you weren’t this hot before, and now you’re…” he trails off.
Buck sits up on the bench and turns around to face Eddie. “Hot?” he asks, filling in the gaps with a pointed look. A stupid smile grows on his face with that fuck-ass tilted eyebrow.
Eddie hates him.
OR: Eddie comes to the sudden realisation that Buck is stupidly hot, and it awakens a whole new side of him that Eddie never knew existed.
