Summary
Lan Wangji attends Yiling High All Boys Catholic Boarding School where he strives to persevere in his studies as well as his future. In the last year of Highschool, a new boy joins the school with a sense of mischief and sunshine that brings the taste of spring. They meet and develop a bond uniquely written by fate. They soon start to question the future of who they are to each other as they encounter family pressure and social stigma.

"And there we were again
Our meetings under the golden tree
And places where no one could ever see
The sacred glances that I’d pray to keepWas it childish to think we’d stay this way?
This is what they warned us about
How did we jump across the cliff

“You have a terrible bedside manner,” Wei Ying says, slumping to the side until Lan Zhan is the only thing propping him up.
“My secondary diagnosis is that your souls are bound,” Wen Qing says, ignoring Wei Ying entirely. She’s so rude. Wei Ying loves her. Platonically, of course. Though if Wen Qing wasn’t, like, super gay maybe he’d go for it, even knowing he’d probably die in the process.
‘Wei Ying!’ Lan Zhan’s judgemental voice sounds in his head.

Summary
Lan WangJi and Lan XiChen stared at the burning dragon spirit in front of them. The rest of the disciples all congratulated everyone around them for all their hard work and for defeating yet another spirit.
The two Lan brothers shared a look with each other, both faces controlled into normal expressions but they both could see the hurt and sadness in each others eyes.
It wasn’t easy, having to conceal your identity and keep destroying your kind. For as long as Lan WangJi and Lan XiChen can remember they have been dragon spirits, the very same kind as the one burning to ash right this second.
