Summary
Nicholas Holiday is despondent. He has sat in bed for hours and hours, on the verge of rotting away. This is typical of him, but it doesn't make his mother any more approving of it. But his sister, December, imagines that he doesn't just act like this out of laziness or ennui. She's going to figure out what's hurting him.
Noelle Holiday comes out, experiences loss, gets really fucked up generally, transitions, gets abused, lives through Weird Route, and maybe has the kind of happy ending she actually deserves?

Summary
As with most things concerning people House cares about, he has trouble seeing the forest for the trees.
(Or, when Wilson is kicked out by his wife and crashes at House's place, he falls into a depressive episode and can't get out of his own head. House, of course, picks up on the fact that Something's Wrong, but skips depression on the way to assume more serious diagnostic causes.)Bookmarked by LapisLazuliIsGay
