Summary
Two years since news broke of a new virus spreading across the globe. Two years since the world ended in what felt like a matter of days.

Darcy Lewis is just trying to keep going in a world doing everything possible to destroy her. It doesn’t help that her pre-apocalypse crush and current enemy-with-benefits, Bucky Barnes, seems determined to stir up emotional turmoil every time he speaks. But when a supply run for the winter goes bad, they find themselves heading outside their Camp’s walls to face down the dead — and the living — with only each other to trust.

Summary
Darcy Lewis is chaffing at the new restrictions imposed on her by her employer and newly discovered father Tony and slips out intending to have some fun. She ends up getting more than she bargained for when a handsome stranger comes to her rescue.
So this prompt came from Tumblr and grew into something more than just a short one-shot. The first chapter was also posted to my Wintershock Drabbles fic, but I'm now re-posting it here as a separate story as it looks like it will be running to around five chapters.
Prompt: Darcy at a party when she spots an ex. Quick, she urgently has to pretend to be dating the nearest person, who happens to be very attractive.
