Ivan sat on the edge of his bed, fingers absentmindedly tracing the edges of the birth control pill pack that had been sitting on his desk, jet-black eyes sliding on the multitude of small, milky pills.
One morning, when his small room was still cloaked in the early blue of morning, soft light bleeding through the pale curtains like a giant's breath, when the timer on his phone buzzed softly at precisely 7:00 AM, Ivan turned it off and didn't take one.
And then the next morning, he didn’t, either.
Soon, the grey little crackling tray was left to collect dust under a pile of pens and untouched notebooks and stickers Mizi had given him from some pop-up Hello Kitty shop in Busan or some pictures with the girl in a crooked photo booth strip.
No more pills meant maybe—just maybe—Till would be his forever .

Ivan, a 15 year old, becomes obsessed with the idea of having a child with the much older, 25 year old band leader Till due to thinking its the only way to guarantee him never leaving and keeping his love forever. However, needless to say, it doesn't go exactly as the teenager planned it to.

Summary
The first time Till had the chance to escape he turned back, leaving Ivan under the falling stars. The second time Till had the chance to escape he ran forward, grasping at Mizi’s hand. It was unlikely he was ever going to get a third chance. Besides, Mizi promised that they would immediately go back and save everyone after joining the rebels.
Then one year turned to two. Then two turned to three. When Till finally saves Ivan on the fifth year, he tries his best to recover their lost time together. The progress was slow but going okay.
Until Ivan has a miscarriage.
According to the doctor, Ivan was fifteen weeks pregnant. Till had saved Ivan thirteen weeks ago.
