    Summary

That closeness - the ghost of its memory, the promise of more - was an electric current that worked its way through Tim’s spine and out through his extremities, or which felt like it did. It must have been generated by the frantic beating of his heart.
He blithely ignored Kon’s pointed looks, and ignored more actively his commentary.

    or,

Tim and Danny find out exactly where the night leads them, in the wake of the Embassy's first gala.

    ***
Companion to The Fish That Dried the Sea, Chapter 14.

Should also be able to be read as a standalone. I think.

    Summary

Danny may be weird but the attention that he was getting from Damian is borderline otherworldly.

It all started pretty normal, they would occasionally lock eyes across the quad or bump into each other at Danny’s favorite coffee shop and Damian would just happen to leave an untouched coffee, which happened to be his exact order, on Danny’s desk.

But then Damian (tried to) bug Danny’s laptop one day while he walked away from it at the campus library.

Damian has a crush on Danny and Danny tries to confront him but ghost physiology gets in the way

    Summary

    The Monolith was gone.
The inevitable tide of events was already receding, and with it went the other Bats. They disappeared one by one, to coordinate with the GCPD or to write reports or tend to wounds or get to cleanup or, in just one case, to sleep, and Jason was left on the shore behind them, standing still and somehow changed.
Jason did what he did best, and fled.

    or,

What is Jason Todd, if not Living, or not entirely so?

    Dante did promise him answers.

    ***

This is a one-shot that takes place between the events of Released (My Tongue Will Speak Visions) and The Fish That Dried the Sea (sequel, forthcoming). It's unlikely to make any sense without reading the former!

    Summary

    The dead greet the living.
We are those who wait at the end of all existence. We are those whose outstretched palm grasps infinity. We are the unchanging conclusion. We are your reflection and your foil.
You are the infant, new from the cradle. You are they who sit upon our palm. You are the delicate assembly of experience and change. You are the unfolding entropy.
We greet you on the knife’s-edge of the Balance that you have broken. We seek that which you have taken and sundered. We reach, now, from within that palm, to correct your blind fumbling.
Summon your counsel. Await our arrival.

The comms were silent. The snowing sensation had resolved within Tim’s mind but it was still there, a banked presence that he could reach for, and when he did, he heard the message again. His breathing came faster and harder.
Jason was the first to react.
    “What the fuck?”

    Or,

The Justice League has missed something catastrophic and tragic in equal measure.

Good thing this is just the sort of mystery Red Robin likes to sink his claws into.

Even better, Batman finally pinned down Constantine to bring to the meeting! Perfect timing!
