Once he and Jason parked in the front of the house, he met the other man at the bottom of the stairs and felt the house spirit fluttering around him curiously. “You know, you could have mentioned you were Jason Todd.”
He remembered researching people he should know before he officially moved to Gotham. Most of the details were forgotten, but he did recall multiple articles that talked about Jason Todd being found alive and coming back home to his family after being presumed dead.
Jason shrugged uncomfortably, “Does that change anything?”
“Nah. There’s only one thing I love more than messing with people,” Danny shook his head with a grin. “Messing with rich people.”
*Danny Fenton just wanted canned pumpkin and maybe enough time to finish his research paper. Instead, he agrees to pretend to be Jason Todd’s fake friend for a family dinner in exchange for $100 and free dessert.

The feeling of that sharp jawline over his hair when he nuzzles Charles' neck, the way Charles grabs his waist, the warmth of his voice... Edwin takes a deep breath and swears he can smell Charles' aura staining the blanket. It's a delicious mixture of seawater and wood, gentle and masculine in a way that warms Edwin’s stomach.
His breath hitches, just slightly, and he presses deeper into the fabric, as if he might melt into the illusion. The scent, imagined or not, unravels something tight inside his chest. He shouldn't indulge like this. It's unprofessional, so improper.
But oh, how he aches for those rowdy yet elegant fingers caressing his pale skin, tracing the blue veins visible inside his wrists and making him shiver with tender kisses up his arm. Deciding any ghost will do, the cult threatens to start killing the humans if Danny doesn't help them, plus gives him a power suppressant for good measure. During which Danny gets shot, and between the suppressant, ecto-loss, and being in a low-ecto environment, his rapid healing isn't working.
Then, it's a race to get Danny back to a high-ecto area so he can recover, before his half-death becomes a full one! Yet the fact that the cult's base was an abandoned lodge in the Canadian wilderness doesn't bode well for him...
Will they make it back in time? And more importantly, Danny's classmates and teacher now know he's a half-ghost, but will anyone learn that he's Phantom as well?
