Marie promised Four a day in Inkopolis Square for the two to be together outside of the usual agent work. Is this a date? Would asking Marie out ruin their friendship? Could Four even ask Marie out? There's no way this could become romantic. Nothing ever works out for her like that.
Little does Four know, Marie is also asking herself these same questions about asking Four out. As the day goes on, someone's got to ask the other, eventually. The struggle is that both of them are awful at trying to say that.
Technically, this is a sequel to the first work in this "series" but they're written to work as stand-alone pieces. Obvs I would love for everyone to read the first one but you don't have to do that to understand this.

Marie is worried that Four is overworking herself, especially after a rough day of kettles. As she prepares some stuff for Four, Marie wonders what it is that makes Four even want to be doing this. After all, there are so many other (better) things that Four could be doing, and it's not like Marie thinks she's worth doing anything for.
