A lot of people really love Ash Ketchum. He's loved across the world and regions, and people are more than excited to see him take the mantle of Alolan Champion.
Except the Orange Archipelago decides that they had Ash first, and Rudy makes that clear on social media. So forms Team Orange.
Then Alola decides that can't slide, and Team Alola quickly follows.
Kanto reminds the other two regions where Ash is from, and Team Kanto comes in.
Kalos joins in.And thus, a four-way custody battle for Ash Ketchum, between two regions that make sense, and two that really don't.

Necromancy is not a very socially accepted quirk. Being the fruit of his mother's affair doesn't win many favors with his father.
Neglectful mother. Abusive father. Bullying at school. Abandoned by his best friend. Izuku's life since his quirk manifested has just been downhill.
Of course, let's add abandonment into the equation as well. Why not? How does a six-year-old survive alone in a society that apparently hates him?
Izuku has a practical solution. Zombies!------

While being attacked by the sludge villain under the bridge, Izuku finally manifests a Quirk. It should be impossible- he has the toe joint and everything- but he has a Quirk, and he can be a hero.
Or: Izuku has a Quirk that lets him control the elements. Also, canon went flying out the window years ago.
