Summary
Uraraka has spent almost a year grieving the tragic loss of Deku, the hero who was supposed to save the world and the boy she loved with everything in her, but she is slowly moving on, acting as the hero that Deku would want her be. She's got her job, her friends, and her life. She's even managed a strange friendship with Bakugou, who bore the weight of Deku's death almost as hard as her. Things are once again looking hopeful.
This is, until, Deku comes back into her life and shatters everything she's rebuilt. Except he's not what he seems. Something is wrong with him - with his mind - and Uraraka will be damned if she lets the darkness take him again. If only he agreed with her. If only he wasn't so determined to take her with him.

“Alright,” he says, dragging a stool out to take a seat across from her with his own omelette. “Whatever bullshit you’re going through, it's gone on way too long— don’t look at me like that, I had to spend all night sober yesterday making sure you didn’t get alcohol poisoning or get dragged off by some sleazeball— and our agencies leave for a joint mission tomorrow, and I’m not going to let you mess this up for me so either you spit it out or you figure it out on your own soon, preferably today.”
Ochako slices a piece of omelette with her fork and chews on it. She plays with a bacon bit in her mouth.
“You don’t drink alcohol unless it's work related,” Ochako hums.
Bakugou raises an eyebrow, as if to say Really? That’s the best you can come up with?
(Or, Ochako gets out of a long term relationship and Bakugou is there besides her as she figures out what she wants in life.)
