Rover was never informed by anyone of how expensive Rinascita was. It seemed like an important detail that should have been told to an amnesiac such as herself who knew little of the world she reawakened into.
Far from home and without enough money to pay for a temporary room in Rinascita, Rover is threatened with the idea of sleeping on top of muddy soil in the outskirts of the main city. This nation, they aren’t as welcoming and gracious as the others to her presence.
She begrudgingly aimed to bear with the hand she was dealt with. Only to be met with a face she didn’t really want to see this late into the day, who gives her an alternative. On one condition, of course.
Misfortune only seemed to follow her in this forsaken nation.
