Clone Force 99 gets a new demolitions specialist. Officially, she’s Demolitions Specialist Fizz, transferred to help take down a Separatist munitions depot built into a cliff. Unofficially, she’s a golden-retriever of a human who names her charges, runs on gut feeling, and understands exactly one thing in this war: how to make a building fall down the right way. Numbers and long, complicated words? Not so much. Which is a problem, because Tech—sharp-eyed, data-obsessed, walking dictionary Tech—is nothing but numbers and complicated words. To him, she’s infuriating: reckless, imprecise, easily lost when the briefing gets too technical. To her, he’s fascinating: a brain she can’t follow but loves to listen to anyway, with goggles that somehow always look “really cute” whenever he talks too much.
