Summary
As far as Jason knew, Grayson hadn't ventured out of Bludhaven since Bruce's disappearing act six months ago, but if Nightwing's mess kept getting in the Red Hood's way, he was damn well going to deal with it himself. The trick was avoiding getting dragged into Nightwing's gravity. Dick has always had a way of making all of Jason's old wounds new again, and as Jason figures out, Dick is hardly in ideal form either.

"Dick appeared in the doorway. He looked fine, hair ruffled by the wind, grocery bags in his hands, his jacket open despite the cold outside. Even with his lack of smile, his expression was far from unhappy or guilty, like one would have expected considering the fight with their father not so long ago. It shifted to mildly annoyed as soon as he spotted Jason, though.
“You know, I gave you a key so you wouldn’t climb in the window and leave it open in the middle of winter,” his brother said, closing the door by pushing it with his feet and going to the open kitchen. He started sorting out his groceries, not looking at Jason, probably waiting for some sort of retort or whatever."
OR: Jason comes at Dick's apartment to confront him after a fight with Bruce. It doesn't go as planned.

There was a little girl in his territory. She was a scrapper, getting into fights with the neighbor kids, but smart enough to know that if a real threat came along, she could trust him. No parents to speak of, Jason was a rare adult in her life. (Not that he’s much of an adult, really. Nebulously twenty years old with a very short future ahead of him.) Anyway. He’d been annoyed when she first latched on—he’s far too busy with drug wars and family drama, so her petty kid fights were beyond him.
But his mind changed soon enough, charmed by how she refused to answer to any name at all and how she taught other kids to make a fist the right way. It was her who told him directly about this situation—not the meeting he’s about to crash, obviously, but the trafficking as a whole.
“My sister,” she’d whispered, rough voiced. She only ever whispered to him, didn’t meet his eyes. “They took her.”

We all know Jason dug out of his grave. We all know he was found wandering the streets, looking as though he'd been blown halfway to hell. We know he was taken directly to a hospital, where we know he asked for "Bruce" before he was placed into a coma. We know the detectives called in to investigate don't make the connection to Bruce Wayne or to the son he lost. And we also know what happens next.
But what if, by mere chance, someone did make the connection? What if someone did, in fact, recognize Jason Todd?
