Stolas pulled Blitz into a kiss and the banter flowed like Lust’s perpetual rainfall, easy and comfortable and fun, fun in a way that nothing had truly been for as long as he could remember. Fun in a way he wanted to lasso so it could be ridden away into a beautiful future like one of Blitz’s horses. Fun in a way that could be shared forever and ever, a wondrous eternity.
He plucked up one of the condoms and rolled it around in his fingers, talons tracing the colors as it crinkled, and the needle-sharp edge slipped right through with a pop only he could hear as he dropped his hand to hide behind a wrinkle in the bedsheets. Through the plastic, through the latex, dragging just enough.
There was nothing wrong with tempting fate a touch, not when it was offering itself up on so enticing a platter.
