Cassie has to seduce a pretty blonde on an undercover mission, and it's not Jenny. Jenny is just jealous she doesn't get to go undercover this time, and she's worried that Cassie will get hurt, of course.

He had said those words before—many times—and she hadn’t challenged them. But now, facing away from him, with so many confessions already spoken tonight, the words slipped out before she could stop them: “I don’t believe you.”
Elphaba doesn't believe she's beautiful. That is so wildly outside of Fiyero's perception of the world it briefly breaks his brainless brain.
