Summary
In the year following Eleanor's arrest Kate has to find her own way through the world. It's hard and scary, but at the end of that first year, she transforms from Kate Bishop into something totally different... Hawkeye. Along the way she runs into old enemies, new allies, and a hot Russian assassin.
Yelena is not Aro/Ace here, but possibly could be read as demisexual. Kate is just an oblivious pansexual intimidated by Yelena Belova. Since this is mostly a character study/year-in-the-life Yelena + Kate coming together takes quite awhile (AKA this is a pretty slow burn).

It’s the most incredibly boring normal life that any rich archery-obsessed girl could ask for. Until it comes to end, as all things do. After getting kidnapped and held for ransom, her mother decides that she needs to hire a bodyguard to protect her. Not that Kate needs it.
