In the year following Eleanor's arrest Kate has to find her own way through the world. Along the way she runs into old enemies, new allies, and a hot Russian assassin.
Yelena is not Aro/Ace here, but possibly could be read as demisexual. Kate is just an oblivious pansexual intimidated by Yelena Belova. Since this is mostly a character study/year-in-the-life Yelena + Kate coming together takes quite awhile (AKA this is a pretty slow burn).

It’s the most incredibly boring normal life that any rich archery-obsessed girl could ask for. Until it comes to end, as all things do. After getting kidnapped and held for ransom, her mother decides that she needs to hire a bodyguard to protect her. Not that Kate needs it.
